Hi, my name is Scott Anderson and I am one of the founding members of LiV2.  I, like so many of you, have grown up in this amazing industry with my father, uncle, brother and mother all having worked in the business.  In fact, I grew up next door to the founder of Magnet, Inc, now Magnet LLC.  I was actually employee number 4 back in the mid-80’s for Magnet as I was hired to cut the grass.  Ah the good ole days.

After graduating from Baylor University with my Masters degree in Communication, Bill Wood, the founder of Magnet  asked what I was doing after school.  My answer, “I think I’m going to live in my parents basement for a bit”.  After further discussion, I was hired on as one of the first sales reps ever for Magnet LLC and represented them on both the east and then west coast in the early to mid-90’s.  I am so grateful for those years in which I built my foundation.

I eventually found my way to Leed’s, now PCNA, and took on many leadership roles from 1999-2020.  Most recently, I was Director of Sales in which I led the sales team for the entire U.S.  Such an amazing company and experience.  As with Magnet, I am so grateful for all that I learned in my 20 years with PCNA, and the paths they allowed me to walk.  Some of the best people I have ever met and I will never forget all they imparted on me.

My passion in life is two-fold.  First is my family.  My wife Kristy, daughter Caroline, son Jack and dog Jimmy.  As a side, our dog Jimmy is named after my younger brother Jimmy, as they are both hairy and lick themselves.  My second passion is sales and training.  I look forward to working with you to realize the best you can be, and also, I look forward to what you will ultimately teach me.

Alina Rubinshteyn

co founder

My name is Alina and I’m the other founder of LiV2!  UNLIKE my brilliant partner in crime, i had no clue that this industry ever existed.  In fact, I didn’t know of many industries’ existence as I found my way to America in 1998 from Tashkent, Uzbekistan.   Fun fact: you know the song by the Beatles, “the Yellow submarine”?  The song was actually inspired by my family’s journey over to America...NOPE, just kidding...although this is a story a friend of mine believed in for years...we’re not close any longer!

After graduating from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004 with a degree in Journalism with emphasis on Advertising (and a minor in Russian...that’s right...i minored in Russian, while being fluent in the language), I started working as a sales rep selling Yellow Pages.  About 7 months into the job, I realized that this is not for me.  Coincidently, one of our Regional Managers did as well and he recruited me to sell emery boards and screw drivers that had logos imprinted on them!  "HMMM", was the only thought that went through my brain, but at that time, I was ready to jump head first into something else.  This is how my journey in this amazing industry began, with a local supplier out of St. Louis.

A year after that, I was hired by Scott Anderson to work for Leed’s (now PCNA).  Coincidentally, or maybe not, on my very first day on the job, it was announced that PCNA had acquired a Canadian apparel supplier by the name of Trimark.  Scott raised a red flag as my eyes widened in excitement as he read the news to us.  “Focus” he said.  I focused, but within my 10 year career at PCNA I held multiple roles.  I was in sales on both the hard goods and apparel side of the business and most recently I managed the central region for the company.  Within this time I also completed my MBA at St. Louis University in International Business, got married and had two awesome kiddos, well 3...Maia, my fur baby can’t be neglected!

I absolutely ADORE this industry and the people that make me feel like I'm home every time I get to interact with them.  I thrive on progress and watching others succeed.  That’s when I realized that I was ready for the next step.  When others’ success brought me more joy than my own accomplishments!  I’M SO EXCITED to watch you thrive, grow and succeed and feel so lucky to have you become a part of our family!
